Originally a shopping and style editor at i-D Magazine and Time Out London, I work with publishers in the US and UK, fashion and lifestyle brands, creative agencies and TV production companies, and have a specialism in style & fashion, interiors, travel, men's grooming, dive bars, cocktails, and LGBTQ+ culture.
My most recent book is Queer Heroes of Myth & Legend (Radar Books); my 175K best-selling Gin: Shake, Muddle, Stir is still going strong, and my upcoming projects focus on Christian Dior, more queer mythology, and interiors.

Queer Heroes of Myth & Legend, a celebration of gay gods, sapphic saints, and queerness through the ages, published by Radar (UK), is now out worldwide, available in hardback, Kindle, and on Audible.com. It’s my geek specialist subject; I’m excited!
Works In Progress
Current
My first novel is a coming of age tale in late-80s rural England, exploring teen anger, loss, guilt and sex, with folk horror and sci-fi elements; rave, pills, booze and broken hearts.
I’m also working on an anthology project connecting queerness with magic, New Agery, and the humdrum of suburban life innit.
Etc.
Current
Outside of writing fiction, I’m active in the book community with recent published works on dogs, queer heroes, drag culture, and Princess Diana.
Big turn ons are: English folk horror, vintage queer-edged film and lit, myths & legends, buddy movies, screenwriting, photography, dogs, magic, sandwiches, and Australiana.
